Job summary

Aspire People is actively recruiting Design Technology teachers for daily supply, short‑term cover, regular weekly bookings and long‑term teaching positions across Birmingham and Solihull. Qualifications

• Must have QTS or QTLS.
• Relevant Design Technology subject knowledge and ability to teach across the secondary age range.
• Experience in one or more DT specialisms (Resistant Materials, Product Design, Engineering, Graphics, Textiles or Food Technology).
• Strong classroom management and understanding of workshop safety.
• Ability to support pupils with different learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 as required.
• Support daily supply, short-term, weekly and long-term bookings.
• Promote safe, practical learning and manage workshop environments.
