Job summary

DPDgroup in Preston is seeking a Driver to join our team and be the final link between us and our customers. You will start your shift with vehicle safety checks, load your van, and master your route using top-tier handheld tech that shows predicted delivery windows for customers.

As the face of DPD, you will deliver smiles and parcels, handle challenges on the go, and ensure secure handling of items up to 25kg. We offer strong growth, milestone days, and a range of perk benefits.

Qualifications

Held a valid UK Driving Licence for at least 12 months.
Physically fit to handle parcels up to 30kg.
A people person who is professional and reliable and cares about the service delivered.
Comfortable navigating local roads and using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

Vehicle prep and loading, conducting daily safety checks and organizing parcels for your route.
Use handheld technology to navigate and view predicted windows for customers.
Deliver parcels and provide friendly, professional customer service at doorsteps.
Problem solve on the go, including finding a safe place or navigating apartment complexes with local knowledge and tech.
Safely handle parcels and protect vehicle security, including items up to 25kg.
