Job summary

Envision Education is seeking a confident and committed Cover Supervisor to join an all-through school in Enfield for a September start. This temporary, full-time position offers classroom management, behaviour support, and collaboration with teachers and support staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people in the UK, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow pre-set work while maintaining a positive learning environment. DBS clearance is often required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting in the UK.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to manage a classroom and establish clear boundaries.
• Calm, consistent and positive approach to behaviour management.
• Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across the school during short-term teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students stay focused and engaged.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations.
• Build positive relationships with students and provide encouragement.
