Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across Wolverhampton schools, with roles available for daily emergency cover and long-term placements.

As a Cover Supervisor you will deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, support pupils including 1:1 SEND assistance, and work with staff to ensure continuity of learning. Applicants should have a degree, at least six months in a school, strong classroom management, and the ability to adapt to different year groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a school setting.
• Degree is essential.
• Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including 1:1.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set work in the teacher's absence.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive environment.
• Support pupils to stay engaged and on task.
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEND.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
