Job summary

VES Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary schools in the Swansea area. You will supervise classes during short-term absences, support a positive learning environment and deliver pre-set lesson plans.

This role offers flexible hours with full or part-time placements and compliance with Agency Workers Regulations. You will gain experience in education with local placements and access to free online training, supported by a dedicated account manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and complete the work provided.
• Provide support to students where needed and manage classroom resources.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
