Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. The role is temporary and starts in September, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.

You will manage classrooms across subjects, engage students and support the school during teacher absences. PAYE payroll and competitive daily rates apply, with ongoing consultant support.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor within a UK secondary school.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence to deliver pre-set work across a range of curriculum subjects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach.
