Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for a Chesham-based secondary school in Buckinghamshire.

You will take charge of classes, follow prepared lesson plans and maintain high expectations to ensure learning continues when teachers are unavailable. Ideal candidates will have experience with secondary pupils, strong classroom management, adaptability across subjects and year groups, and a professional approach including safeguarding and punctuality.

Qualificações

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Ability to establish authority quickly while maintaining positive relationships.
• Reliability, punctuality and safeguarding awareness.
• Experience in a secondary school or education setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Taking responsibility for classes across a variety of subjects and year groups.
• Delivering work and instructions provided by the class teacher.
• Setting clear expectations around behaviour, effort and conduct.
• Managing classroom behaviour calmly and consistently.
• Encouraging pupils to remain focused and complete the work provided.
• Providing appropriate guidance where pupils need clarification.
• Monitoring progress and highlighting any concerns to relevant staff.
• Providing feedback following lessons where required.
