Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Cover Supervisor for roles starting in October 2026, with a daily rate of £100–£150. The role involves delivering secondary subjects to ages 11-16 in a school setting, using provided materials, and maintaining high classroom standards.

Excellent behavior management and strong interpersonal skills are required. This is a short-term role with potential to become permanent, paid PAYE with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• Experience of group management of 11-18 year olds.
• Excellent and proven behaviour management experience.
• Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secondary subjects to ages 11-16.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and cover teaching using available resources within the classroom.
• Promote and push the students to achieve the expectations set in the absence of the teacher.
