Job summary

Clarence Recruitment is seeking a reliable General Cover Supervisor to work across secondary schools in Leicester. You will supervise classes during short-term teacher absence, keeping students engaged with set work and maintaining a calm, productive environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with young people in education, coaching, or mentoring settings; be confident leading groups; and possess strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in education, coaching, mentoring, or youth work settings.
• Ability to lead groups of students confidently in a classroom environment.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Flexible, professional, and adaptable across a range of subjects.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
