Job summary

Levy UK & Ireland, part of Compass Group, is seeking a Conference & Events Hospitality Assistant on a zero-hours basis at Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes. You will help set up meeting rooms, assist during events, and liaise with kitchen and AV teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and set-up of meeting rooms, event spaces, and equipment in line with client requirements and function sheets.
• Provide on-the-day support during conferences, meetings, banquets, and events to ensure smooth running.
• Handle event equipment such as microphones, projectors, flipcharts, AV systems, and ensure any issues are reported or resolved promptly.
• Welcome clients, delegates, and guests, offering assistance and information throughout their event.
• Work closely with the Conference and Events Manager and wider team to deliver high-quality service.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and presentation of all event areas.
• Support with post-event breakdown, resetting rooms, and preparing spaces for the next function.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (kitchen, front office, housekeeping, AV) to ensure all aspects of events are delivered to standard.
• Adhere to health & safety, fire safety, and company policies at all times.
