The Great Yorkshire Events Centre is expanding its register of casual event workers to support a wide range of events throughout the year. This hands-on role involves physical tasks, setup, breakdown, and front-of-house support as needed.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, and you’ll join a friendly, supportive team working on diverse events, including shows, conferences, and public gatherings.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic; able to undertake physical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Set up event spaces and lay out furniture per event plans.
• Assist with venue setup and breakdown activities.
• Support waste management and recycling initiatives within the venue.
• Clean and prepare event spaces using appropriate equipment.
• Provide front-of-house support when required.
• Assist the events team to ensure successful delivery of events.
• Undertake other duties related to event operations as needed.
