Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to deliver engaging FE lessons across the North East, helping learners prepare for employment and apprenticeships.

You will bring real-world industry experience into workshops, support learner progress, and inspire the next generation of tradespeople. This flexible, temporary opportunity offers hourly pay between £24.43 and £42.03, including holiday pay, with roles across the EPNE partnership.

Qualifications

• Relevant Carpentry & Joinery or Construction qualification required.
• Experience teaching, training or supporting FE learners.
• Knowledge of FE programmes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Carpentry & Joinery lessons to FE learners.
• Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Carpentry & Joinery.
• Bring real-world industry experience into workshops and classroom.
• Support learners with their progress, practical skills and development.

• A teaching qualification is desirable, although relevant industry experience may also be considered.
• A passion for helping learners succeed.
