Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment is helping a high-performing Birmingham secondary school recruit a Business Teacher for an immediate start. The role runs long-term through to Christmas at a minimum, with potential for extension or permanent placement.

The ideal candidate will have QTS (or be an ECT in training), be confident teaching across KS3- KS5, and be passionate about raising student achievement within a supportive department and school environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Business Teacher with QTS, or an ECT completing training.
• Confident teaching Business across KS3 to KS5.
• Commitment to raising student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Create a positive classroom environment to motivate students.
• Support students with varying abilities to make strong progress.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the department and school staff.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.
