Job summary

Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Birmingham who are seeking a passionate and committed Business Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT looking for a long-term position, with the role running through to Christmas at a minimum, and an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Qualified Business Teacher with QTS or an ECT completing training.
• Confident teaching across KS3 to KS5.
• Long-term role with potential for permanency.
• Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Create a positive classroom environment where students are motivated to achieve.
• Support students of varying abilities to make strong academic progress.
• Prepare students effectively for examinations and assessments.
• Work collaboratively with the wider department and school staff; contribute to school life.
