Job summary

Reed is seeking a Business Teacher to provide temporary sickness cover at a Sixth Form College in Brighton. Deliver A Level Business and BTEC Level 3 Marketing to post-16 learners, starting from the week commencing 5th October.

You'll manage up to 4 classes across blocks C, D, F and G, with sessions from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm. Enjoy a supportive college environment and dedicated consultant support throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

• QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching A Level Business and/or BTEC Business/Marketing.
• Ability to manage classrooms effectively with post-16 learners.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Availability to start immediately and commit to the duration with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in A Level Business and BTEC Level 3 Marketing.
• Manage up to 4 classes per week across timetable blocks C, D, F, and G, spread over 5 days.
• Conduct sessions between 8:30 am and 3:45 pm, ensuring a stimulating learning environment.
• Utilise effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive and focused classroom atmosphere.
• Motivate and inspire sixth form learners to achieve their full potential in Business studies.
