Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream secondary school in Oldbury Wells to appoint a dedicated Business Teacher. The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, starting 2nd November 2026, with a salary of £170 - £241 per day.

You will plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess progress and uphold high behavioural standards. Ideal candidates hold QTS and have experience across KS3/KS4, with a strong curriculum knowledge and a proactive, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (essential).
• Experience teaching Business Studies in a mainstream secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
