Job summary

TeacherActive is working with Oldbury Wells to appoint a dedicated Business Teacher. The role covers planning and delivering engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4, with responsibility for assessing progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS, bring experience in a mainstream secondary school, and be capable of delivering lessons to students of varying abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (essential).
• Experience teaching Business Studies in a mainstream secondary school.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3/KS3 and KS4/KS4.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback.
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour.
• Support curriculum delivery in a mainstream secondary school.
