Job summary

The Supply Register, on behalf of Coleg Cambria, invites applications for a Business Lecturer to inspire and support learners across a range of business programmes in North Wales.

You will plan lessons, assess progress, and create an inclusive learning environment while collaborating with colleagues to help students achieve their career goals. DBS check required; teaching qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Business, Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Business within Further Education, training, or a related setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of business practices and current industry trends.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for supporting and developing learners.
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable, along with a valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Business programmes at a range of levels.
• Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Support learners in developing their understanding of key business principles, entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, and management.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes and progress towards their career goals.
