Job summary

Coleg Cambria in Northop is seeking a Lecturer to deliver Leadership and Management courses including Prince2, Agile PM, and related bite-size corporate offerings. The role is permanent and full-time, with a salary range of £33,596 to £51,932.

The post requires a Level 5 teaching qualification (or in progress), leadership experience at a strategic level, and strong knowledge of Welsh bilingual delivery is a plus. The college offers extensive benefits and development opportunities.

• Ability to analyse and use information to inform teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled teaching, prepare learning materials, mark student work, liaise with awarding bodies and invigilation.
• Complete documentation: registers, schemes of work, course analyses, student reports, and absence reports.
• Provide educational guidance and support while ensuring student safety and welfare.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to student success and effective teaching and learning.

Salary: £33,596 - £51,932 Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine

We currently have a vacancy for a lecturer to join our impressive Business school premises at Northop. The post holder will be required to deliver a variety of Leadership and Management courses including Prince2, Agile PM, Leadership and Coaching and our bite size corporate offerings.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled teaching, preparation of learning materials, marking of students’ work, and liaise with awarding bodies and exam invigilation.

• Complete and produce the agreed deadlines documentation such as, registers, schemes of work, records of work, course review, course analysis documentation, student reports and absence reports.

• Excel in providing educational guidance and support for our students, as well as ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.

• Have a strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.

Must haves

• A minimum of a Level 5 teaching qualification (e cert Ed/PGCE) or be working towards a Level 5 teaching qualification.

• Have Leadership and Management industry experience at a strategic level

• Have Prince2 (7th Edition) and Agiles PM with evidence of good outcomes

• Educated to a minimum Level 6 qualification

• Awareness of the importance of quality standards within teaching

• Demonstrate an understanding of current developments within your own specialist area and ways of keeping up to date with such development

• Knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within a learning environment

• Be able to analyse and use key information to inform teaching and learning
