Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a motivated administrator to join the Theatres, Anaesthetics and Critical Care administrative team in Glasgow. The role is fixed-term for 12 months, full-time (36 hours per week), with Monday–Friday shifts.

Base location is Glasgow Royal Infirmary, offering a busy, collegiate environment and opportunities to develop essential NHS administrative skills. Key duties include providing comprehensive support to Senior Charge Nurses and the Service

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Effective teamwork and communication within a busy admin team.
• Experience in a dynamic administrative environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to Senior Charge Nurses, Lead Nurse and Service Support Manager within Critical Care and Theatres.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative duties.
• Support the smooth and efficient running of the service.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently when required.
• Contribute positively as part of the wider team.
