Job summary

TwinStream Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to work with intelligence community clients, managing customer integrations on the cross-domain platform. You will gather requirements, configure setups, and engage stakeholders across levels of technical understanding.

DV clearance is required for the role. You will collaborate with multiple teams to resolve issues, refine configurations, and help design secure, scalable architectures that meet business

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (consultancy, pre-sales, solutions engineering or professional services).
• Ability to present complex technical and security concepts to mixed audiences.
• Business analysis: eliciting and documenting requirements.
• Broad Linux knowledge with administration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking and software architectures.
• Familiarity with API definitions such as Swagger/OpenAPI 3.
• Familiarity with shell scripting.
• Solution or systems architecture experience.
• AWS administration and CloudFormation templates.
• Technical authorship and data engineering experience.
• Exposure to event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer integrations with the cross-domain platform from initial contact to go-live, and retiring when no longer required.
• Presenting and demonstrating the platform to customers, explaining features and security model.
• Gathering and analysing business and technical requirements, translating them into platform configuration.
• Shaping solution architectures that fit customer environments and security constraints, advising on components.
• Advising on integration via REST APIs, SFTP, webhooks, etc.
• Setting up customer access and configuring data flows.
• Writing and maintaining technical and business documentation.
• Working with development to resolve issues and propose improvements.

About the role

Working with many disparate teams throughout the intelligence community to enable their cross -domain use cases. You will need to manage many different priorities and stakeholders to achieve their business outcomes. This involves analysing their requirements and configuring the cross-domain platform accordingly. Once configured, it may be necessary to work with the teams to debug and resolve any issues, and further, refine the setup. It is important to be happy engaging with stakeholders with varying seniority and technical understanding. DV clearance is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Presenting and demonstrating the platform to prospective and existing customers, explaining its features and security model clearly
• Gathering and analysing business and technical requirements, and translating them into a platform configuration
• Understanding customers’ use cases, shaping solution architectures that fit their environment and security constraints, and advising on the best platform components
• Advising customers on integration via REST APIs, SFTP, webhooks and similar
• Setting up customer access and configuring data flows
• Writing and maintaining technical and business documentation
• Working with the development team to resolve technical issues, suggest process improvements and propose feature enhancements

• Presenting and demonstrating complex technical and security concepts to mixed audiences

• Broad Linux knowledge, including administration and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking and software architectures
• Understanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV
• Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures
• Proven experience in problem solving to a 2/3rd line level.
• Familiarity with API definitions such as Swagger / OpenAPI 3

• Familiarity with AWS administration and Cloud Formation templates
