Job summary

MERITUS is recruiting a DV Cleared Windows Engineer to join our client in Stevenage for an initial 12-month contract, working onsite. The role focuses on Windows Server/OS, VDI, AD and security, with DV clearance mandatory and a strong emphasis on incident resolution and documentation.

Responsibilities include BAU support across restricted networks, patching, asset management and cross-team collaboration, staying current on Windows technologies, and delivering high-quality technical guidance

Qualifications

• Must hold DV clearance.
• Experienced Windows Engineer able to work across Infrastructure & Workplace.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Windows OS, Desktop Applications and Virtualisation including VDI.
• Knowledge of networking principles and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support, administration & configuration across Windows Environments in restricted networks.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and asset registers.
• Manage incident resolution for Windows services within SLAs; Tier 2/3 support.
• Coordinate maintenance and patching across Windows Environments.
• Interface with 3rd party providers for support and guidance.
• Site-based role due to network requirements.
