Job summary

Cyber UK is seeking an experienced SOC Analyst (Tier 2/3) for a 12-month contract based in Corsham. You'll monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents in a public sector environment. This role requires an active DV Clearance and at least 2 years of SOC Analyst experience, preferably with SIEM technologies.

Qualifications

• Must hold Active DV Clearance and be a Sole UK National.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating as a Tier 2 or Tier 3 SOC Analyst.
• Strong background in SIEM engineering/configuration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environments.
• Perform triage of security events and manage incidents from detection to resolution.
• Develop SIEM use cases, analytics, and playbooks.

Skills

Active DV Clearance

2+ years of experience as Tier 2/3 SOC Analyst

Industry-recognised SOC / Cyber Security certifications

Experience with SIEM technologies

Hands-on experience creating security use cases

Understanding of information security principles

Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux technologies

Familiarity with GDPR and Data Protection legislation

Education

Degree in Cyber Security, Computing, Engineering or related discipline
