Job summary

Cooper Moss Rutland is seeking an experienced Senior Planner in Reading to join our award-winning team. You will develop robust construction schedules, coordinate with cost and risk teams, and work with suppliers to ensure deliverability across UK projects.

Requirements include DV clearance or current SC with willingness for DV clearance, extensive scheduling experience, and strong knowledge of NEC/FIDIC contracts. The role is office-based in Reading with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Solid scheduling expertise including Primavera P6.
• Previous senior planner level responsibilities.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with NEC or FIDIC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, realistic and defensible construction schedules.
• Develop schedule estimates for construction works, ensuring alignment to scope and delivery strategy.
• Define Basis of Estimate for the construction schedule scope, including key assumptions, exclusions and constraints.
• Support planning leadership across the programme, ensuring schedule quality, logic, integration and governance are maintained.
• Work with Cost and Risk Management to align estimates and schedule impacts.
• Identify and manage interfaces including procurement, consents and delivery milestones.
• Review supplier and contractor schedules for logic and deliverability.
• Ensure schedule estimates are validated through benchmark data and BIM.
