Job summary

Experis UK is seeking a DV Cleared Principal Engineer in Malvern for a 6‑month contract to build, configure, test and support secure, mission-critical IT infrastructure. You will lead end‑to‑end delivery of Windows environments, logging, monitoring and security tooling.

You will implement Domain setups, GPOs, licensing, 3rd‑party integrations, and logging with Splunk, while supporting penetration testing and documentation updates for smooth service transitions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Windows-based infrastructure builds and configurations.
• Ability to test readiness and perform system acceptance reviews.
• Structured approach to documentation and handover to operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Windows infrastructure with Domain setup, GPOs and licensing.
• Configure monitoring and security tooling and integrations.
• Set up logging and monitoring with Splunk and implement forwarders.
• Prepare development environments and validate SQL Server templates.
• Support penetration testing and remediation planning.
• Provide architectural support during onboarding and service transition.
