Job summary

Salt Search is seeking a DV-cleared Infrastructure Engineer for full-time, on-site roles across London, Manchester, Cheltenham or Ipswich. You will design, implement and support secure IT infrastructure spanning virtualization, networking, storage, automation and platforms.

Responsibilities include collaborating with technical teams to deliver resilient solutions and providing leadership on complex issues to ensure the health and optimisation of critical systems. DV clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• VMware ESXi, vCenter and VMware Cloud Foundation expertise
• Windows, Linux and macOS server administration
• Containers and Kubernetes proficiency
• NSX virtualization and networking skills
• Networking and storage technologies knowledge
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python or Java
• IaC/automation using Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Foreman, Kickstart/PXE or MDT

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure IT infrastructure across virtualization, networking, storage, automation and platform tech
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions
• Provide technical leadership on complex issues and health/optimisation of critical systems
