Job summary

Salt Search seeks a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer for full-time, on-site roles in London, Manchester, Cheltenham, or Ipswich. You will design, implement and support secure IT infrastructure across virtualisation, containers and automation, collaborating with technical teams to deliver resilient solutions.

You will lead on complex issues, optimise critical systems and deploy infrastructure using VMware, NSX, Kubernetes and IaC tools. A current DV clearance is essential.

Qualifications

• Active, current DV clearance is required.
• Full-time on-site role in Cheltenham, London, Manchester, or Ipswich.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting secure IT infrastructure.
• Proficient with VMware, Windows/Linux/macOS server administration.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes and NSX.
• Strong scripting and IaC skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python or Java; and tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Foreman, Kickstart/PXE or MDT.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on complex issues and drive health and optimisation of critical systems.
