BT Group is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to join a specialist security team protecting critical national infrastructure. You will lead health and security monitoring across a large platform, engage with operations, and collaborate with architects to ensure secure, compliant designs.

The role is based onsite with DV clearance required. You will document processes, promote automation, and contribute to world-class secure platforms that make a difference for customers and national

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Linux operating systems is required.
• Experience deploying or administering monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with dashboarding/visualisation tools (Kibana/Grafana).
• Knowledge of security monitoring tooling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction for health and security monitoring across a large platform.
• Engage with operations to understand monitoring use cases and requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and security leads to ensure design standards.
• Document deployment, maintenance and operational processes for monitoring tech.
• Champion automation and orchestration to improve efficiency.
