Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced DV Cleared Demand & Capacity Manager to support critical Defence services within a secure MOD environment. The role is 12 months +, hybrid in Hampshire or Corsham, with DV clearance essential for the project.

You will forecast demand, align it with available resources and service capability, collaborating with technical teams, service owners, and Defence stakeholders to keep services resilient and scalable.

Qualifications

• Current DV clearance.
• MOD/Defence sector experience is essential.
• Strong background in IT Service Management.
• Experience in demand management, capacity management, or service planning.
• Good understanding of technical infrastructure (servers, networks, hosting, data centres).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working within complex, secure IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Managing demand and capacity planning across secure IT services.
• Forecasting resource and infrastructure requirements with service owners and technical teams.
• Monitoring service performance, utilisation, and capacity trends.
• Supporting service management processes, governance, and continual service improvement.
• Identifying risks relating to capacity, performance, and service availability.
• Producing management information, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Working with project and operational teams to ensure future demand is understood and planned.
