Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking Cyber Security Engineers to operate at customer sites in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, with on-site presence and occasional travel. You will join a team to maintain a strong cyber security posture across classified and unclassified networks.

The role covers security engineering, incident detection and response, IAM, and DevSecOps practices, with emphasis on Kubernetes security and cloud/container security.

Qualifications

• Experience in MOD or Home Office project environments.
• Strong knowledge of network and system security including firewalls, IDS/IPS and host security.
• Hands-on with security products Trellix, Ivanti, ClearSwift, Yubikey.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security solutions to meet baseline requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain secure posture.
• Support logs forwarding to SIEM and incident response.
• Develop policies, designs and procedures with customers and agencies.
• Identify vulnerabilities and validate secure systems.
