Job summary

Copello is seeking a DV-cleared Security Engineer for a hybrid role in Cambridgeshire. You will join a high-profile secure programme and work with the Security Engineering Lead to implement, maintain and improve critical security controls across Defence environments.

The position involves coordinating across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and network security, and supporting accreditation, testing and protective monitoring activities as part of a long‑term contract.

Qualifications

Security Engineer (DV Cleared) - Cambridgeshire (Hybrid)

We're looking for DV-cleared Security Engineers to join a high-profile secure programme, working across complex Defence environments in Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.

You’ll work alongside a Security Engineering Lead and wider engineering teams to implement, maintain and improve security controls across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tooling and technical controls
• Develop and maintain security baselines and secure configurations
• Assess vulnerabilities and implement effective risk mitigation
• Support SIEM, protective monitoring and security logging
• Work across Windows, Linux, virtualisation, networking and endpoint security
• Support security accreditation, testing and verification activities
• Produce technical/design documentation and security artefacts
