Job summary

Copello seeks a DV-cleared Security Engineer to join a hybrid role in Cambridgeshire, working across Defence environments. You will collaborate with a Security Engineering Lead to implement, maintain and improve security controls on critical systems.

You will help develop baselines, manage configurations, assess vulnerabilities, and support SIEM and logging activities while contributing to documentation and artefacts for accreditation.

Qualifications

• DV clearance required for access to secure Defence environments.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining security controls.
• Experience across Windows, Linux, virtualization, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security tooling and technical controls.
• Develop and maintain security baselines and secure configurations.
• Assess vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation.
• Support SIEM, protective monitoring and security logging.
• Produce technical/design documentation and security artefacts.
