Job summary

Specialist Computer Centres PLC is seeking a DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant for a Derby-based, 2-month contract. The role involves delivering against an established AD programme, upgrading Domain Controllers, and validating Windows Server 2025 deployments within a highly secure environment.

The successful candidate will have Active DV clearance, strong AD design and migration experience, and excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills to operate in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• DV clearance (Developed Vetting) verified with client security team.
• Proven experience as an Active Directory consultant or similar.
• Strong AD design, administration and migration experience.
• Experience completing Domain Controller upgrades.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2025.
• Excellent troubleshooting in enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in secure, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant | £650 per day via Umbrella Company | 2 Month Contract | Derby (Onsite) | SCC Flex Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant to support the delivery of a critical Active Directory programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant to join a high-security environment and contribute to the implementation of pre-defined Active Directory workstreams.

Your responsibilities as the DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant:

• Deliver against an established programme of Active Directory work.
• Support and perform Domain Controller upgrades within Active Directory environments.
• Implement and validate upgrades on Windows Server 2025 infrastructure.
• Ensure Active Directory services remain secure, resilient and operational throughout delivery.
• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project objectives.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation where required.
• Adhere to security, governance and change management processes within a highly regulated environment.

As a successful DV Cleared Active Directory Consultant, you will have:

• Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance that can be verified with the client security team.
• Proven experience as a n Active Directory Consultant or similar Active Directory specialist.
• Strong Active Directory design, administration and migration experience.
• Demonstrable experience completing Domain Controller upgrades.
