Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced Microsoft Active Directory SME to support the design, implementation and optimization of secure enterprise identity services within a high-assurance environment. The role is hybrid and based in Corsham, with DV clearance essential.

You will lead AD architecture, manage domains, forests, trusts, and work on ADFS and identity integrations with security teams and customers on-site.

Qualifications

• Extensive Active Directory architecture and hands-on experience.
• Experience with secure/regulated environments; DV clearance essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Design and manage domains, forests, trusts, replication and Group Policy.
• Develop secure tiered administration and privileged access models.
• Support ADFS, authentication and identity integrations.
• Conduct AD health checks, security assessments and remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex identity issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs and technical documentation.
• Work closely with technical leads, security teams and customers on-site.

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Active Directory SME to support the design, implementation and optimisation of secure enterprise identity services within a high-assurance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Design and manage domains, forests, trusts, replication and Group Policy.
• Develop secure tiered administration and privileged access models.
• Support ADFS, authentication and identity integrations.
• Conduct AD health checks, security assessments and remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex identity issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs and technical documentation.
• Work closely with technical leads, security teams and customers on-site.

Essential Skills

• Extensive Active Directory architecture and hands-on experience.
• Strong Group Policy, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Experience with PAM, PAWs and least-privilege security models.
• Knowledge of Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, SAML and OAuth.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience in secure/regulated environments.
• Defence or Aerospace experience desirable.
• Active DV clearance is essential.
