Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Microsoft Active Directory SME to support design, implementation and optimisation of secure enterprise identity services in a high-assurance environment. The role is hybrid in Corsham, with sole British nationals only and DV clearance essential.

You will provide technical leadership across AD, design domains and forests, manage trusts and GPOs, and develop secure privileged access models while supporting ADFS and identity integrations on-site.

Qualifications

• Extensive Active Directory architecture and hands-on experience.
• Strong Group Policy, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Experience with PAM, PAWs and least-privilege security models.
• Knowledge of Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, SAML and OAuth.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience in secure/regulated environments; defence/aerospace desirables.
• Active DV clearance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Microsoft Active Directory environments.
• Design and manage domains, forests, trusts, replication and Group Policy.
• Develop secure tiered administration and privileged access models.
• Support ADFS, authentication and identity integrations.
• Conduct AD health checks, security assessments and remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex identity issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs and technical documentation.
• Work closely with technical leads, security teams and customers on-site.
