Job summary

Whitbread is hiring a Duty Manager for Inverness West Premier Inn. The role is a permanent, full‑time position with 37.5 hours per week and a pay of up to £13.86 per hour.

You will oversee shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure a smooth hotel operation and a great guest experience. You’ll lead, coach and support team members, resolve guest queries, and collaborate with the Hotel Manager to keep the operation running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver guest-focused service.
• Strong in situational problem solving and decision making.
• Able to coach and mentor staff across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
• Spot issues early and put them right
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team
