Job summary

Premier Inn Inverness West is seeking a Duty Manager to lead shifts on-site, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll guide the team, resolve issues quickly and help maintain high service standards across the hotel.

This role focuses on hands-on leadership, decision-making under pressure, and cross-department collaboration, with opportunities to progress into broader hotel management roles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy guest-facing environments.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Coach team members throughout the day.
• Assist guests with questions and resolve issues.
• Support multiple departments from reception to restaurant.
• Ensure guest safety and smooth hotel operations.
• Collaborate with Hotel Manager and leadership team.
