Whitbread’s Glasgow Stepps Premier Inn is recruiting a Duty Manager to lead shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll guide your team and help keep the hotel running smoothly during busy periods.

You’ll be on the floor, making quick decisions, coaching colleagues, and supporting guests with queries while working evenings and weekends. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments.
• Proven ability to coach colleagues and manage incidents calmly.
• Strong guest service skills and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues quickly.
• Collaborate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams.
• Identify issues early and take corrective action.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
