Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting for a Duty Manager at our Lymington Premier Inn (New Forest Hordle). The role is a 38-hour weekly, permanent position paying up to £13.86 per hour. You will lead shifts, support guests and teams across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure a great stay for guests.

Experience in people leadership and strong customer service is valued. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and offers a clear career path within Whitbread’s Premier Inn brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in busy customer-facing environments
• Strong guest service focus and problem-solving.
• Ability to make quick decisions and stay calm when the hotel is busy
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and shifts as required

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and provide clear pre-shift briefs
• Coach and support team members throughout the day
• Assist guests with questions and resolve issues
• Collaborate with reception, housekeeping and restaurant to keep operations running smoothly
• Help maintain guest safety and hotel standards
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team
