Whitbread's Cardiff City Centre Premier Inn is hiring a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel across shifts, coordinating reception, housekeeping and restaurant teams to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

The role is permanent, 32 hours per week, with pay up to £13.86 per hour. No hotel experience is required; leadership and people skills are key for success in this busy, guest-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates from retail, hospitality or customer service backgrounds are welcome.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people in a busy, guest-facing environment.
• Confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and restaurant to ensure a great guest stay.
• Deliver clear pre-shift briefings and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Jump between teams to support operations during busy periods.
• Spot issues early and take corrective action to keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and leadership team.
