Job summary

Premier Inn in Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) is recruiting for a Duty Manager. This role is part-time (16 hours per week) with shifts including evenings, weekends and busy periods. You will lead shifts, support multiple hotel teams and help guests to ensure a great stay.

You’ll be on the floor, coaching staff, solving problems quickly and learning paths that can lead to a Hotel Manager role in the future. Pay is up to £13.86 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams during busy periods.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Coordinate across reception, housekeeping and restaurant during shifts.
• Identify issues early and implement solutions.
• Work with the Hotel Manager and leadership team to run the hotel smoothly.
