Job summary

Premier Inn Blackburn Town Centre is seeking a Duty Manager to help lead the hotel during shifts, working across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay. You’ll manage teams, brief staff, and handle guest questions with calm efficiency.

This is a permanent role with 24 guaranteed hours per week, offering training, development and a clear path toward future Hotel Manager responsibilities within Whitbread’s Premier Inn brand.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy guest-facing environment.
• Confident decision-maker who stays calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running the way it should.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
