Job summary

Premier Inn in Blackburn Town Centre is seeking a Duty Manager to lead shifts and ensure smooth hotel operations. You will work across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant, delivering briefings, coaching staff, and assisting guests with queries throughout busy periods.

The role prioritises hands-on leadership from the floor, with opportunities to progress toward a Hotel Manager position. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours and a strong team focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading teams and coordinating shift activities.
• Strong customer service focus and guest interaction skills.
• Ability to coach and develop team members and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
