Job summary

Whitbread in Port Talbot is seeking a Duty Manager for a 30-hour-per-week, permanent role. You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping and the restaurant to ensure guests have a great stay, with the Hotel Manager and leadership team supporting your development.

This role welcomes applicants from retail, hospitality or service backgrounds who enjoy leading by example, staying calm under pressure and helping teams succeed. Training and progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Leads and motivates teams to deliver great guest experiences.
• Delivers clear guidance and briefings to staff.
• Deals with guest questions and resolves issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Ensure guest safety and smooth hotel operations.
