Job summary

Places for People Group is seeking a Duty Manager for Places Leisure to oversee a busy leisure centre. You will manage, recruit and train staff, while ensuring excellent customer service and leadership. A flexible approach to shifts, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

The role requires supervisory experience in a leisure facility and NPLQ qualification; first aid experience is a plus. You will play a key part in driving memberships and delivering reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Essential: you hold a NPLQ qualification.
• Experience supervising/leading a leisure facility is desirable.
• You should demonstrate excellent customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, recruit and train staff to run the centre efficiently.
• Deal with customer concerns and drive up memberships.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings as part of daily operations.
• Represent Places Leisure and lead a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Be flexible with shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
