Job summary

Leisure-Focus is seeking a Duty Manager to lead health and safety standards and drive a dynamic leisure programme. You will be part of the Centre Management Team, rotating shifts, and occasionally working poolside to deliver the centre’s programme.

The role requires experience in customer relations, staff mentoring, and DBS disclosure checks. The successful candidate will contribute to marketing, events and high-quality customer care.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualification in Leisure Management or related subject.
• Knowledge of health and safety in leisure facilities.
• Experience in customer service and staff mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of health and safety and customer care.
• Develop and promote an innovative leisure programme to increase usage and profitability.
• Assume shift management to maximise centre performance and customer care.
• Provide staff training and development; assist in marketing and events.
• Maintain cash handling responsibilities and financial processes.
• Oversee staff staffing levels to ensure safe operations.
• Act as main key holder for opening/closing and emergency calls.
• Support Centre Manager in quality assurance and running events.
