Whitbread in Doncaster is seeking a Duty Manager for the Doncaster Central location. This permanent, part-time role (16 hours/week) pays up to £13.86/hour and covers evenings, weekends, and peak guest periods.

You will lead shifts across reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant, ensuring a great guest stay and a well-supported team. Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in busy customer-facing settings, with a proactive mindset and the desire to grow into a Hotel Manager position.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in guest-facing environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.
• Willingness to develop into Hotel Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings.
• Support and coach team members throughout the day.
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems.
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant.
• Spot issues early and put them right.
• Help keep guests safe and the hotel running smoothly.
• Work closely with the Hotel Manager and wider leadership team.
