Job summary

SSP Group plc is recruiting a Duty Manager for the M&S Simply Food outlet at Glasgow Central Station. The role offers 40 hours per week, shifts from 5am to 11pm, and a base pay of £13.75 per hour with an extra £1.50 per hour for overnight hours to £15.25.

You will lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring smooth opening/closing and outstanding customer service across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail is required.
• Willing to work flexible shifts including nights.
• Must be 18+ years old for certain tasks or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening, closing and daily operations.
• Lead your team through busy shifts with energy and positivity.
• Inspire the team to deliver great customer service and handle queries.
• Monitor unit performance and champion improvements.
• Previous team leadership in hospitality or retail is required.
