Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Duty Manager to lead store operations and act as a Retail Assistant with a 2 per hour shift supplement. You will focus on product availability, customer service, and role modelling best practices for the team.

You will support engagement initiatives, uphold cash handling and security policies, and drive a positive, inclusive store environment with hands-on leadership on shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Ability to plan and organise shifts and utilise every team member.
• Provide balanced feedback to improve performance of others.
• Lead by example to pace the team and deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain great availability for customers and ensure marketable stock on shelves.

• Have a clear focus on delivering great availability for your customers.
• Play an active role in your store to "sell a 1 & save a 1" to help drive sales.
• Deliver on all agreed actions set for you by your line manager.

• Complete any actions set for you by your line manager on the back of the daily floor walk focusing on what the customer sees.
• A positive approach to service, both in store and at the doorstep always aiming to be the best place to shop.
• Follow and implement all cash handling and security policies & processes.
• Play your part in providing the best digital service through implementing all "One Best Way" processes.
