Job summary

Whitbread is seeking a Duty Manager for the Belfast City Centre location (Alfred Street). You’ll lead shifts, coordinate across reception, housekeeping, and restaurant, and ensure the hotel runs smoothly. The role emphasises guest service, team leadership, and proactive problem-solving.

This fixed-term contract runs until January 2027 with guaranteed 24 hours per week. Pay is up to £13.86 per hour, with opportunities to progress within the Premier Inn brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading teams in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Strong guest service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts across the hotel and deliver clear pre-shift briefings
• Support and coach team members throughout the day
• Help guests with questions and sort out problems
• Jump in to support different teams, from reception to the restaurant
